FIXED BASE OPERATOR

Wings Field is owned by a Partnership, the Wings Field Preservation Associates, LP (WFPA), which bought the airport on October 30, 1998. The Partnership does not operate the airport, however. The operator, known as a Fixed Base Operator (FBO), is an entirely separate and unrelated entity that provides pilots, crew, and passengers with valuable services and products that are essential to flight.

Advanced Wings is the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) that runs aviation operations at historic Wings Field. It operates the airport’s fueling and line service operations, flight training, discovery flights, and maintenance shop.
