MCA's customized, one-on-one pilot training program takes you through the steps required to earn an FAA pilot’s license.

First, you will have to pass the FAA’s medical exam.

Second, you must study the principles of flight, regulations, weather, navigation, and other aviation subjects to prepare for a written FAA knowledge exam.

Third, you will learn how to safely operate an aircraft and gain the skills and confidence to pass the FAA oral exam and flight test.

MCA's Private Pilot Packages include 40 hours of flight time and 35 hours of dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor all for one low price (depending on the type of airplane chosen). If additional flights or instruction is needed, normal hourly rates apply.

About the G1000

The revolutionary G1000 glass cockpit is the most intelligent flight-deck package ever to fly on this class of aircraft. The G1000 integrates all primary flight, engine and sensor data to provide intuitive, at-a-glance situational awareness. Real-time, flight-critical information is presented on two big, colorful 10.4-inch active-matrix LCD displays - bringing new levels of safety and confidence in our Skyhawk (C-172S). The G1000 creates the irresistible combination of the future of flight with the world's most-embraced, most-flown aircraft ever. The databases in each aircraft are updated monthly to ensure up-to-date vital information.

How to get started

MCA has a dedicated G1000 real panel which is an invaluable tool for you to complete the ground training for your checkout. This aircraft is available for dual ground training and for “solo” practice. Solo practice on the aircraft is allowed once you have been approved by a CFI or during the checkout process. Solo simulator time is at no charge, but please schedule time in advance to ensure availability.

What a G1000 checkout entails

  2. Flight Training:
    • One flight to perform basic instrument rating maneuvers (stalls, steep turns, unusual attitude recoveries), approaches, holding and reversionary and failure modes.
