If you have been bothered by an aircraft operation at Wings Field, we want to know about it.
The Noise Complaint Hotline was created to enable neighbors to call and leave a report about an aircraft-related disturbance. Upon receipt of a report, the Wings staff will initiate an investigation into the event and provide you with a response.
To help us investigate an incident, we need your eyes and ears to provide us with a few pieces of information to identify the aircraft. Wings, like the vast majority of public use airports, does not have someone sitting in a control tower who is in a position to monitor aircraft activity at and around the airport and be able to communicate with errant pilots. Wings is among the vast majority of the 5,000 public use airports in the USA that do not have a control tower. In fact, only 485 airports in the USA have control towers. We encourage you to call us as soon as possible after the incident occurs. That way it is more likely that the aircraft is still on the ground at the airport or within radio range.
